Fiona Dent has been a Labour party member for 35 years and lives in Maidenhead where she has been a local government officer.
She has previously been a social worker and a probation officer.
Before moving to Maidenhead, Dent was a Londoner.
She ran as a “paper candidate” against the Maidenhead Conservative leader in the ward of Bray where the Tory congratulated her on her campaign, she says.
Fiona has not run a campaign to win support locally in Croydon – her application did not even include any contact details – and she is not expected to progress.
