There will be acts from around the world, including a locally based troupe of Russian dancers, plus Scottish pipers.

There will also be a range of other stalls and attractions, including a ubiquitous bouncy castle.

This year, the festival is raising funds for the restoration fund for Ruskin House, the large and elegant Georgian townhouse on Coombe Road which is need of some repair.

  • The Folk and Blues Festival at Ruskin House, Coombe Road, CR0 1BD, begins at noon on Saturday, July 13, and runs until 11pm. Entry costs just £3, though accompanied children get in for free
