All the best village summer fayres have competitions, and the St Peter’s Village Fayre in South Croydon on Saturday June 28 is no exception.
The competitions include (open to all) …
- Best dressed Teddy
- Victoria Sponge
- Flower arrangement in a cup, mug or tankard
… while for children there’s…
- A model of a church made from junk materials, base to be no bigger than 45cm x 45cm
- Four decorated biscuits (judged on decoration only).
- A handmade greetings card
Note: age will be a factor when judging the children’s classes.
Entries for the competitions need to be brought to the church between 11am and noon on the day of the fayre.
Judging will take place at 2pm, with prize giving at 2.30pm.
- Volunteers would be very welcome to help with the setting up for the fayre on the morning.
- The organisers are also seeking donations of any damaged crockery, or unwanted books, toys, games or bric-a-brac, which should be brought to the church this Saturday morning.
- For any enquiries, contact the South Croydon Community Association by email for more details
