Pat describes her early work as influenced by her conditioning, having spent her teenage years working on heavy manual typewriters, hard-edged lithographs and making copious notes.  “So I set myself tasks of seeking an inner truthfulness with intuitive writing, drawing and finally painting with some extremely large five foot canvasses which have never been seen publicly, until now, with the encouragement of the Bethlem Gallery.”

Her most recent  ‘FLOWERS FOR …’ series are full circle, from the immaculate, carefully correct flower drawings. Pat describes these works “They represent not only my freedom to express my feelings in my artwork, but my ability to give love to others now rather than waste my life just needing”.

The work is on display from October
