Croydon’s top table tennis talents have the chance of winning a total of £700 in prizes in a tournament being staged at the Centrale shopping centre on July 16 – which apparently is National Table Tennis Day.
The tournament is one of the various events being staged as part of Ping, which has delivered up a set of tables and table tennis equipment to a range of venues around the borough in an effort to bring the Olympic sport to the people of Croydon.
Centrale’s doubles tournament aims to bring together a wide variety of local groups and clubs. So, if you are a part of a charity, a member of a club, or any other local organisation, grab a teammate and sign up.
The tournament begins at 11am, with the The event takes place at 11am on July 16, and the winners will get a £200 gift card and a chance to donate £500 to a charity of their choice.
To sign-up to take part in the event, email centrale@frankpr.it before July 11.
