Sanderstead Children’s Society charity art sale, Mar 19

childrens societyThe Sanderstead branch of the Children’s Society is staging its annual exhibition and sale of pictures by local artists on Saturday, March 19, at the United Reformed Church Hall on Sanderstead Hill.

Featuring works by talented artists from all over Croydon, from Bromley to  Warlingham and Woldingham, the works are very varied.

Now in its 42nd year, the event offers a opportunity to buy original paintings and drawings, framed and unframed, at really affordable prices.

Whether you’d like to give a room a new look or buy a special gift for a friend or family member, you’ll find dozens of pictures to choose from. Around 50 artists’ work will be on display and 20 per cent of all profits go towards the Society’s work with disadvantaged children.

There will also be a home-made cakes and preserves stall, plus tea and coffee to enjoy and a chance to win a raffle prize. The exhibition is open from 10am to 4.30pm and all are welcome.
