Dino Dash relay, Crystal Palace Park, Jun 22

The 2016 Dino Dash is being staged in Crystal Palace Park on Wednesday, June 22.

Dinosaur relayThe evening relay race, starting at 7.30pm and organised by Crystal Palace Fun Runners, is for teams of three each running a lap of a two-mile loop. It is staged on traffic-free park paths and roads. But you need to beware the dangerous, monstrous dinosaurs on the route.

The event is open to all abilities, from speedy club runners through to groups of friends fancying an evening run with a difference. Every finisher will receive a free copy of Running magazine, a tasty Eat Natural bar.

The cost of entry is £15 per team. Proceeds will be donated to Friends of Crystal Palace Subway and Friends of Crystal Palace Dinosaurs.

Runners must be at least 18 years old on the day to compete.

The race start/finish area will be situated at the Information Centre in the lower section of Crystal Palace Park. The start line is a 10 minute walk from the bus depot on Crystal Palace Parade. There is also free car parking available nearby.

There are public toilets at the start of the race, next to the information centre. There are limited changing facilities so you are advised to arrive ready to race. Bags can be left at the information centre (please note that the organisers cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings).

Prizes will be awarded to best men’s, best women’s and best mixed teams.
