The St Giles School Family Fun Day is being held on Saturday September 10, offering a fantastic day out for all of the family.
St Giles School in South Croydon is a maintained school for children aged 4-19 years who have physical disabilities, complex medical needs, complex speech and language difficulties and associated moderate, severe or profound learning difficulties.
Held in the school grounds, the annual Family Fun Day should be a day to remember with a wide variety of activities on offer, including a barbecue, Pimms tent, craft-making stalls, face painting, traditional afternoon tea and cakes.
Special guests, Elsa and Olaf from Frozen, will also be visiting to meet the children.
“We can’t wait to welcome the local community, parents and carers for a day of fun once again,” Joni Campbell, the St Giles fund-raising co-ordinator, said.
“Last year we had a fantastic turn-out and raised more than £3,000. We’re hoping to beat that record this year. Please come along and help us reach our target. The money raised from our Fun Day will be used to buy specialist equipment, fund trips and update our outdoor areas for our very special children. We simply would not be able to provide this without the backing of the community, parents and carers and we are so grateful for all the support we receive.”
The Family Fun Day on Saturday September 10 runs from noon until 3pm, at St Giles School, Pampisford Road, South Croydon CR2 6DF. For more information please call Lisa Negus or Maree Oxnard on 0208 680 2141 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
