Take your marks for Wandle Park beginners’ runs from Apr 27

Wandle Park is to get its own beginners’ running group, meeting outside the park cafe every Thursday evening at 7pm, beginning from April 27.

Led by experienced runners, this is a start-up group for people of all ages, abilities and sizes who want to use running as a method of getting fit but have either never run before nor have tried running but have not continued for various reasons.

This is part of the Wandle Valley Active Wandle campaign.

Details on how to register for this event can be found here.

The weekly runs are free, just bring yourself in your sports kit with a good pair of running shoes.
