Melanie Onn, the Grimsby MP and the housing spokesperson in Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn’s shadow cabinet, will be speaking at a supper club in Croydon Central next month.

Melanie Onn: speaking about housing in Croydon
Croydon Central was the parliamentary constituency where Sarah Jones ousted the Tory housing minister, Gavin Barwell, at the General Election in June.
This Labour fund-raising evening is being staged on November 1 at Aqua in Croydon’s South End, and the £15/£25 fee (for unwaged or waged) includes a three-course Greek-style meal.
“Onn is not only Labour’s future housing minister but is also working to make misogyny a hate crime. It should be interesting evening and a great way to meet people,” says the organiser.

Well, may be attendance at the Supper Club will give our newly appointed MP a chance to put her head above the parapet and say something! Unlike our previous MP who was prepared to tell us what he thought and to meet with “the people”, Sarah has taken a very low key since the elections!!
