There is a community tree-planting day being held at Rowdown Field, off Lodge Road, New Addington, this Saturday, December 15, from at 10am until noon.

All ages are welcome to help at this Saturday’s tree-planting in New Addington
It is organised by Kent Tree and Pond Wardens, who say, “Come and join us for an fun hour or so in the open air, family friendly, no experience required.
“Please dress to stay (very) warm and dry, with good shoes or boots, and garden gloves, if you have them. Spades, trees and tree guards are supplied, but do book in with us beforehand, so we can cope with the numbers.”
