“It represented everything I didn’t want in my life, everything I wanted to get away from.

Under The Flyover’s latest podcast interview with is with Croydon actor and comedian Katie Hurley, just before she takes on a major show at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe.
Taking up the challenge of the Bowie quote, Hurley has taken ownership of it, in her one-hour-long, one-woman show, which is premiering at this year’s world-famous Edinburgh Fringe.
Hurley delves into local, and a bit of her own back-story from the Noughties, to find out why Croydon’s actually great.
In our no-holds-barred Under The Flyover interview – warning, the programme may contain adult language – Hurley talks about having an AI Bowie as her co-star, and guest appearances from Kate Moss, Raye and Stormzy on her show.
Her agent says that the show, “Blends music, dance, comedy, spoken word and audience interaction, in a homage to a town and a time.”
