INTERGALACTIC EXCLUSIVE: Count Binface, fresh from challenging Rishi Sunak at the General Election and winning 24,000 votes in May’s London Mayor vote, has announced on our interview podcast Under The Flyover that he now wants to run for office as … Mayor of Croydon!
You can listen to the complete Count Binface interview on our Spotify channel, as he explains what he thinks of #Binmageddon and Croydon’s new rubbish contract with Veolia.
Hear Count Binface talk about his previous election rivals, including Theresa May and Boris Johnson, as he takes aim at Croydon Mayor Jason Perry with a campaign that he promises will be #ABitLessShit.
And listen to the intergalactic superhero’s excitement at performing on stage at the Fairfield Halls on Saturday October 19 (tickets available here), within sight of the universally famous Croydon Flyover.
But you better hurry: tickets sales have gone off like a space rocket!
“The Banksy of Satire” says he is here to save us all from imminent disaster with his MEGA plans (Make Earth Great Again!).
And now Binface is bringing his unique take on Croydon, his special brand of sci-fi satire, and of course his unbeatable manifesto.
Cheaper croissants? Check. The nationalisation of Adele? Check. The return of Ceefax? Check. Water bosses to take a dip in UK rivers to see how they like it? CHECK!
“Let’s take down the trash! Croydon Forever!”
Inside Croydon’s ChatBot: In line with Croydon Council policy, and following the advice of Boston Consulting Group, no expense has been spared in installing an AI-powered chatbot for users of this website. It won’t work. It doesn’t matter how many times you click on it.
But hey, as we said, it’s in line with Croydon Council policy…

ROTTEN BOROUGH AWARDS: In January 2024, Croydon was named among the country’s rottenest boroughs for a SEVENTH successive year in the annual round-up of civic cock-ups in Private Eye magazine

Count Binface needs to be careful. Given the standard of Croydon politicians, he could easily win. Does he really want to? 😂
There’s a conspiracy I’ve heard that he wants to make us part of an Ultra Low Emissions Solar System (ULESS), and even Pay-Per-Planet for non compliant spaceships.
Sensible policies for a happier Croydon. Go for it Monseur Binface! Mr Blobby would make a better mayor than the poor-hating creature it currently has.
Finally a sensible candidate has come forward for this role.
YES PLEASE !!¬!¬¬ welcome Binnie !!!!
Perhaps he can find out why Croydon Council has been quietly removing bins from Croydon’s streets.
Quietly? Nope. At least 1,000 street bins were removed around 2019, to reduce Veolia workload, and therefore the rubbish contractor’s costs.
YES, BinFace is the Mayor we need. Ceefax would be more suitable solution to the Croydon website than Perry’s AI, which is no doubt already bamboozled!
