The Dobbies garden centre at Woodcote Green is staging a Hopping Hounds event, where customers’ dogs get to sniff out an Easter egg trail around the store before receiving a toy and money-off vouchers for the store and its restaurant.

Pooch patrol: Dobbies has a special egg trail for dogs through until Easter
Customers will be able to add a donation while booking the event, helping with Dogs Trust’s mission of caring for, rehabilitating, and rehoming thousands of dogs every year. The event is priced at £12.50 per dog.
Well-behaved dogs on a lead are warmly welcomed in the Woodcote Green store and in a dedicated area of the restaurant.
There will also be photograph opportunities with the Easter Bunny to have a keepsake of the experience.
Customers can also take part in Dobbies’ monthly social media competition, Dogs at Dobbies, by posting a picture and using the hashtag #dogsatdobbies to be in a chance of winning a gift voucher.

This is a bit tin eared – dogs can’t eat chocolate
And Easter eggs and treats don’t have to be made of chocolate.
I personally dont like those kind of eggs. I find the yolk is not only not yellow but is very sticky and bits of plastic and foil spil the taste. No matter what you do they also always taste of cardboard.
Give me a simple marrow bone anyday.
But you have to hand it to the two legged butlers we seem to inherit on a regular basis. Those humans have a few real ideas. They know precisely how to obtain money without snarling or having to give a quick nip in the nethers and thethers to. Not you understand that well behaved canines every indulge in that kind of anti-social (ok we have a few) behaviour. but this is to to keep up the good welfare of us their four legged friends. So on that note three woofs for Dobies.
Woof Woof Woof.
