South West London Law Centres’ Croydon office has moved out of the council-owned Davis House in the town centre to a new address in the Centrale Shopping Centre.
South West London Law Centres operate across south London, providing much-needed legal advice and help, often to those who cannot afford their own lawyers.
SWLLC is one of the largest law centres in Britain and a registered charity, which operates with the support of a network of more than 400 pro bono lawyer volunteers and 40 members of staff.
They reckon that they provided £1.5million-worth of free legal advice last year.
“We work in the communities we serve, to alleviate poverty, speak for the most vulnerable and create a fairer society for all.”
And now, in Croydon, they will be doing so from Unit 41/42 Keeley Road, Centrale Shopping Centre, CR0 1TF.
“Thanks to the support of our staff, volunteers, and community, we’re now settling into a space that allows us to continue what matters most: standing alongside the people of South West London and working for justice in our communities,” they say.
