Museum of Croydon in appeal for volunteers to run exhibitions

The Museum of Croydon, funded by the council and based in the Clocktower complex next to the Town Hall on Katharine Street, is appealing to residents to come forward as volunteers to assist with its public activities.

“We’re looking for passionate volunteers to join our front of house team and help create a welcoming atmosphere for our visitors at the museum,” they have announced.

According to the Museum, “No previous experience is needed – just a love for Croydon’s unique history and a desire to help others discover it.”

Volunteers will assist with customer service, provide information, and support the operation of the venue’s day-to-day exhibitions.
