Tram network disrupted by repairs to power lines at Arena

Tram services are suspended today between Addiscombe and Birkbeck and Addiscombe and Elmers End.

Transport for London issued a notice late last night, that the disruption would begin at the start of service today.

“This is due to repair works needed on the overhead line equipment at Arena,” TfL said. No timing for the expected finish of the works was given.

A shuttle service is operating between Beckenham Junction and Birkbeck. “Tickets will be accepted on local bus services,” TfL said.

“We are sorry for any disruption this may cause to your journey.”

TfL advise that passengers check before they travel and allow more time for their journey.
