There’s still time to sign up for one of the post-GCSE courses starting this autumn term at Croydon College and Coulsdon Sixth Form College.
Open enrolment: there are sign-up sessions all week in Croydon and Coulsdon
Open Enrolment sessions give Croydon’s young people the chance to visit the colleges, at the town centre campus or in Coulsdon, explore their options and secure a place.
“Whether results were different from expected, plans have changed or students simply have not yet decided what they want to do, there is no need to panic,” said a spokesperson for the colleges. “Teams are available at both colleges to talk through the options and help students find a course that suits their results, interests and ambitions.”
No appointment or application is required for Open Enrolment: potential applicants can simply come along to one of the sessions at Croydon College or Coulsdon Sixth Form College.
The first sessions are going on today, September 1, until 4.30pm. Similar sessions continue through the week, in Croydon and Coulsdon:
- Wed Sep 2, 9am to 4.30pm
- Thu Sep 3, 9am to 4.30pm
- Fri Sep 4, 9am to 4.30pm
Croydon College offers a wide range of vocational qualifications, T Levels and apprenticeships, with courses including business, construction, engineering, health and social care, childcare, digital media, games and animation, hair and beauty, motor vehicle mechanics, public services, science, sport, travel and tourism and many more.
Coulsdon Sixth Form College offers A Levels, T Levels and vocational courses across a broad range of subjects.
Whether pupils have already applied or are only now considering their options, the team will be available during enrolment to help them choose the right route.

Those enrolling should bring their National Insurance number, identification, previous school report and qualifications, details of an emergency contact and, where relevant, documentation relating to their immigration or visa status.
“The message for anyone still without a place this September is simple: don’t panic and don’t assume you’ve left it too late. There are still courses, choices and people ready to help you take your next step.”
