St Giles School in South Croydon is staging its summer Fun Day on Saturday, June 27, from 12 to 3pm.
St Giles is a school for children aged from 4 to 19, who have a physical disability, profound or multiple learning difficulty or complex medical needs.
The Family Fun Day is a fantastic day out for all of the family. Held in the school grounds, it should be a day to remember with a wide variety of activities on offer, including a barbecue, a Pimms tent, craft-making stalls, face painting and traditional afternoon tea and cakes.
St Giles fund-raising co-ordinator, Joni Campbell, said: “We can’t wait to welcome the local community, parents and carers for a day of fun once again. Last year we had a fantastic turnout and raised over £3,000. We’re hoping to beat that record this year and welcome even more.
“Please come along and help us reach our target. The money raised from our Fun Day will be used to buy specialist equipment, fund trips and update our outdoor areas for our very special children. We simple would not be able to provide this without the backing of the community, parents and carers and we are so grateful for all the support we receive.”
St Giles School is at Pampisford Road, South Croydon CR2 6DF. For more information please call Lisa Negus or Maree Oxnard on 020 8680 2141 or email office@st-gilesschool.co.uk
