Under The Flyover listens in as Billy Bragg goes to The BRIT

Waiting for the great leap forward: BRIT School principal Stuart Worden (left) interviewing Billy Bragg

Forty years since the release of his Life’s A Riot album, singer-songwriter Billy Bragg visited the world-famous BRIT School in Selhurst last week to talk about his career, answering questions from pupils.

In a wonderfully frank, inspiring and insightful Q&A session, Bragg recommended that zigging when everyone else is zagging is a useful premise on which to base a career in the creative industries.

Under The Flyover is the podcast strand from the Inside Croydon website, providing premium content exclusively for our subscribers, available via Spotify and Patreon.

Massive thanks to Principal Stuart Worden, who conducts a mean Q&A session, and all the lovely people at the BRIT School.

And thanks, too, to the ever-bright shooting star, Billy Bragg.
