Surrey Police have arrested a man in connection with a stabbing in Whyteleafe last week.
Police said they were called to the Whyteleafe Tavern at 5.30pm on Wednesday.
The victim, aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital with stab wounds and later released, Surrey Police said.
A 43-year-old man, from Whyteleafe, was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
Detective Inspector Jo Horner said: “We want to reassure you that our teams are working hard to understand what happened.”
She urged anyone with information or relevant dashcam footage to contact the force.
