Man from Shirley charged with GBH over Bromley assault

Croydon man Demiesh Williams appeared in court on Tuesday charged with grievous bodily harm following an assault on another man in Bromley on Sunday which has left his victim, a man in his 40s, in hospital in what the police describe as a “life-threatening condition”.

Williams, 29, of Fir Tree Gardens, Shirley, appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court, after being arrested following an incident at Upper Elmers End Road just after 8pm on Sunday.

The Metropolitan Police has not appealled for witnesses or further information in this case.

  1. It’s now being treated as murder – Mr Clark died yesterday

      My best friend knew who Andrew Clark was went to the same school as him and yes now the person held has been charged with murder as Andrew died in hospital a few days after the assault
