The South Croydon Community Association is staging a “Meeting the Police” event in Park Hill Park this Friday, June 27, at 6.30pm.
“As part of the ongoing work to improve Park Hill park, we are meeting with the police to discuss issues and to foster a relationship with them,” SCCA said.
Fairfield ward has a new acting sergeant who will be attending to meet residents and park-users.
Issues to discuss will include:
- Drug dealing and drug-taking in the park
- Rough sleepers
- Dog owners and rules
- Extending the no-drink zone into the park (and agreeing exceptions)
The meeting will take place near the refreshment hut.
